Welcome to Wesson Bright A Division of Niagra LaSalle
(UK) Limited
The name
"Wesson" has always been synonymous with bright
flats, squares, and hexagons, particularly in larger
sizes. Equally renowned is our reputation for bright
special sections in an almost unlimited range of shapes
and sizes. And all set against a level of service that
demonstrates exceptional flexibility.
Today, these strengths are greater than ever, thanks
to our exclusive focus on cold finished products. Furthermore,
as part of the Bright Bar Division of Niagara LaSalle
UK Ltd., Wesson Bright Products is able to offer an
exceptional range of facilities and services as well
as sharing in the resources and technical expertise
of Niagara LaSalle - the USA's largest independent producer
of bright bar.
To be able to manufacture such a wide range of products
requires some very diverse production capabilities-at
Wesson Bright Products these encompass not only precision
bright drawing, but also cold rolling and bright machining.
Our bright drawing facilities are extensive, consisting
both of Schumag drawing machines and bar fed drawbenches,
manufacturing flats up to 12” x 2” (300mm
x 50mm), and squares and hexagons up to 4” (100mm).
Manufacturing methods unique to Wesson Bright Products
mean that virtually any increment of size can be catered
for with minimal set-up time.
To cater for even larger sizes of flats our cold rolling
and bright machining facilities take over, producing
large flats up to 20” wide x 6” thick (500mm
x 150mm) and fully machined products up to 6 ¼”
(160mm), again in any size increments.
Our extensive ancillary facilities and services are
just as comprehensive and include annealing, hardening
& tempering, stress-relieving and normalizing, as
well as cutting to length. And as a significant proportion
of Wesson Bright Products’ production is exported,
special export packaging is also available.
The
sourcing of raw material stocks plays a vital part in
our capabilities. Thanks to vertical integration over
80% of our feedstock is sourced from the Hot Rolling
operations within Niagara LaSalle UK Ltd. Where it is
produced on a regular basis – increasing our flexibility
and security of supply with the highest levels of quality
assurance. The worldwide sourcing power of Niagara LaSalle
gives us the benefit of truly global reach and considerable
economies of scale.
Quality, naturally, is of prime importance to us; the
company is approved to BS EN ISO 9002, and to ensure
consistently high quality, full testing and inspection
facilities are available
